Richard’s love of the law and business began at an early age while growing up on the family farm, and taking part in his family’s businesses across Kentucky. Whether helping house the Burley Tobacco grown on his family’s farm, watching the sale of it at his family’s Home Tobacco Warehouse, or while filing completed Real Estate contracts at his mothers’ office; Richard’s love for law and business has only continued to grow. So too, has his longing to both protect and preserve those memories and assets that only hard work and dedication can provide, not only for his own family, but his clients as well.
Richard’s journey to becoming a legal “Jack of all trades,” hasn’t been quite as long as his other professional roles and business ventures, but its been just as meaningful. Richard launched his own solo legal practice in April of 2020, after deciding to merge his private sector real estate experience of over a decade with his educational background.
Before making that decision, he attended the University of Kentucky where he received a BA in Communication/Political Science, before making the move to Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law to obtain his JD. After returning to the family farm, Richard took an active interest in his family’s political and charitable endeavors while studying for the bar exam, as well as continuing to do his part to help grow both his own and family business ventures.
Richard lives full time, and is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Having found his true passion at a young age, his time is now spent helping others who share his desire to encourage new ideals, businesses, and transactional real estate endeavors; while also partnering with his clients for their own personal and professional success through Business, Real Property, Estate Planning, Probate and other legal issues they may need assistance on.
